Physiotherapy In The Modern Age

The PhyziX Difference

At PhyziX, we see the body as a connected system, where movement in one area can have a ripple effect elsewhere. For instance, improving movement in your feet can relieve pain in your knees, hips, and back.

While the traditional healthcare system often treats symptoms with medications, injections, or surgeries, we focus on harnessing your body’s natural ability to heal.

At PhyziX, we avoid cookie-cutter exercises, outdated machines like e-stim and ultrasound, and one-size-fits-all programs. Instead, every session is personalized to you, focusing on retraining your movement patterns so every joint and muscle works together in harmony.

Starting From the Ground Up:

The Role of Your Feet!

At PhyziX, we pay special attention to foot mechanics, a highly overlooked area in most rehab approaches.

The foot is your body’s first point of contact with the physical environment. It contains about 7,000 nerve endings that provide critical feedback to your brain.

This interaction has profound impact on how the rest of your body functions.

By addressing this often missed piece of the puzzle, we have been able to deliver faster and longer lasting results to even the most complex cases.

In this video, our founder, Dr. Jia, explains how he uses simple foam wedges to correct foot mechanics to resolve chronic back pain.

How To Get Started

  • Schedule a Free Consultation Call

Talk to one of our PX therapists directly to find out if our PhyziX philosophy can help with your specific problem. Have all your questions answered before making a commitment.

  • Get Evaluated and Treated

If you think we’re a good fit, you can book a full evaluation after your call. In this session, we’ll uncover the root cause of your pain using our PhyziX philosophy. Most clients feel a difference after their first visit.

  • Develop A Custom Plan

We design a personalized plan to guide you through our 3-step PhyziX method, taking you from where you are now to where you want to be.

“Came in with nagging knee pain in my patellar tendon. Brandon has been able to take it from a constant 3-6/10 pain to a 0-2/10 pain in a few weeks, and I've been feeling so much better moving on the basketball court and in daily life.

I was pretty skeptical of any type of "physical therapy" after hearing stories from my girlfriend and others close to me about how they didn't really help their issues. What PhysioX does is focus solely on diagnosing which movement habits have led to your problem and efficiently addressing them through corrective exercise.

They cater to your specific needs/goals (mine were to regain my confidence playing basketball and some other basic life function), as well as your schedule and fitness background.

I can't stress enough how much I value what they do, and the investment they charge is 100% worth the money.”

FAQ

  • At PhyziX, we prioritize quality care and a great client experience, which is why we operate as an out-of-network provider. This means we don’t work directly with insurance companies. Instead, payment is collected upfront for your care. After your visit, we can provide you with a receipt (called a “superbill”) to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.

    What this means for you:

    • You don’t need to wait for insurance approval to get started.

    • No prescription from a doctor is required.

    • Your treatment plan is designed entirely around your needs, without restrictions from insurance rules.

    • You’ll receive more personalized, one-on-one care with a doctorate of physical therapy every time.

    • Higher quality care means you will need less appointments, saving you time.

If insurance coverage is not your top priority, we recommend scheduling a free consultation call with one of our physical therapists. During the call, we’ll help you understand how our approach works and whether we’re the right fit for your needs. If you decide an in-network provider would be a better option, we’ll gladly recommend trusted offices we collaborate with to ensure you receive the care you need.

  • At PhyziX, we accept FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSA (Health Savings Accounts) for payment. These accounts make it easier to use pre-tax dollars to cover the cost of your care. If you have any questions about using your FSA or HSA, we’re happy to help!

  • Yes, there is plenty of parking available right outside our office, including handicap spots conveniently located near our door. Before your first visit, we’ll send you a welcome email with a short video to make finding us as easy as possible!

  • Definition: Physiotherapy or Physical therapy is a conservative medical practice focused on managing movement dysfunction. It promotes optimal physical function by preventing the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.
